Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan, mix 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of corn syrup.
- Heat the Mixture: Place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add Color: Add a few drops of food coloring if desired and stir until evenly mixed.
- Remove from Heat: Once dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat and let the solution cool for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare Containers: Carefully pour the cooled sugar solution into clean glass jars or containers, filling them about 2/3 full.
