Ingredients

- 200g rice flour
- 100g tapioca flour
- 200g sugar
- 400ml coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring (various colors for layering)
- Greased baking tray
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together rice flour, tapioca flour, and sugar until well combined.
- Gradually pour in coconut milk and vanilla extract while stirring until the batter is smooth.
- Divide the batter into separate bowls based on the number of colors desired.
- Mix food coloring into each bowl until evenly colored.
- Fill a steamer pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Pour a thin layer of the first color into the greased baking tray and steam for 5-7 minutes until set.
- Add the next color on top and repeat the steaming process until all colors are layered and cooked.
- Once complete, let the cake cool before slicing into squares and serve.
Notes
Experiment with flavors by adding pandan essence or cocoa powder. Serve with shredded coconut or sweetened condensed milk for added flair.
