Description

A fun and tasty treat perfect for spring gatherings, this Spring Slime is both kid-approved and customizable.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of cornstarch
  • ½ cup of warm water
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • A few drops of food coloring (preferably green)
  • Optional: additional fruit chunks or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by washing and slicing them into small pieces. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch and warm water. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth. Add the vanilla extract and a few drops of green food coloring.
  3. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries until well incorporated.
  4. If the mixture is too thick, add warm water one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Transfer the Spring Slime to a bowl or container. Enjoy immediately or chill in the fridge.

Notes

Store any leftover Spring Slime in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The mixture may thicken on chilling; add warm water to adjust consistency.
