Ingredients
- Black yarn or string
- Scissors
- Craft glue or glue gun
- Cardboard circle (for base)
- Optional: Plastic spiders or decorative elements
Instructions
- Cut the Cardboard: Use scissors to cut a circle from cardboard, approximately 12 inches in diameter.
- Create a Anchor Point: Make a small hole in the center of the circle for securing the yarn.
- Cut the Yarn: Cut several lengths of black yarn, each about 2-3 feet long.
- Attach the Yarn: Thread one piece of yarn through the center hole and secure it with a dab of glue.
- Start Weaving: Pull the yarn outward to create spokes, spacing them evenly around the circle.
- Form the Web: Loop the yarn back toward the center and secure it with glue at each crossing point to create a web pattern. Repeat this process, gradually moving toward the outer edge.
- Layering: For added depth, use additional strands of yarn in varying lengths.
- Add Spiders: Glue in plastic spiders or any other decorative elements at random spots on the web.
- Allow to Dry: Let the glue dry completely before displaying your craft.
