Create enchanting Sparkly Crystal Christmas Trees with simple materials for a delightful holiday decoration.
Ingredients
- Epsom salt or sugar
- Water
- Small tree molds (or any shape you prefer)
- Pipe cleaners or sturdy wire
- Food coloring (optional)
- Small tray or baking sheet
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks (for assembly)
Instructions
- In a pot, combine 1 cup of Epsom salt or sugar with 2 cups of water. Heat until dissolved, stirring frequently. Add food coloring if desired.
- Place small tree molds on a tray and pour the warm solution into the molds until filled.
- Twist pipe cleaners into tree shapes and place them upright in the molds to touch the solution.
- Leave molds in a cool area for 24-48 hours to allow crystals to form.
- Once crystals are formed, carefully remove the trees and glue the pipe cleaner or wire base for stability.
