Create beautiful beach-inspired decor using repurposed materials to craft sparkling ocean treasures.
Ingredients
- Empty glass jars or containers
- Sand (beach sand or craft sand)
- Seashells and small ocean-themed decorations
- Clear craft glue or Mod Podge
- Glitter (blue or silver)
- Small faux pearls or beads
- Tealight candles (optional)
- Paintbrush (for glue application)
- Optional: food coloring (blue or aqua)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by covering the area with newspaper or a plastic sheet.
- Layer the sand into the glass jar, filling it to about 1/4 of the jar’s height.
- Add a layer of glitter over the sand for a sparkling effect.
- Arrange seashells and ocean-themed decorations on top of the glitter.
- Secure the decorations with a thin layer of glue using a paintbrush.
- Optional: Sprinkle faux pearls or beads on top of the glue before it dries.
- Finishing touches include placing a tealight candle on top once dry.
