Description

A fun and delicious way to enjoy S’mores using a solar oven, perfect for outdoor cooking.


Ingredients

  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows
  • Chocolate bars
  • Aluminum foil (if making a homemade solar oven)
  • Clear plastic wrap (if making a homemade solar oven)

Instructions

  1. Build your solar oven by cutting a cardboard box and lining it with aluminum foil, sealing it with clear plastic wrap.
  2. Prepare a graham cracker base on aluminum foil.
  3. Add chocolate and marshmallows on top of the graham cracker.
  4. Cover with another graham cracker square and wrap lightly in foil.
  5. Place your S’mores in the solar oven and position in direct sunlight.
  6. Wait for 30-60 minutes, checking occasionally until marshmallows are gooey and chocolate is melted.

Notes

You can use a conventional oven instead by baking at low temperature. Customize with different chocolates or fruits.
