Description

A fun and engaging indoor craft perfect for kids and adults alike, creating a mesmerizing snowstorm effect in a jar.

Ingredients

  • Clean, empty glass jar with lid
  • Distilled water
  • Baby oil (or mineral oil)
  • White glitter (or snow globe flakes)
  • Small plastic figures or decorative elements (optional)
  • Liquid glycerin (optional, for slower falling snow)
  • A funnel (optional)
  • Craft glue (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jar by cleaning and drying it thoroughly.
  2. Create the base by placing small plastic figures at the bottom and gluing them if necessary.
  3. Use the funnel to pour distilled water into the jar, filling it about 3/4 full.
  4. Add baby oil until the jar is almost full to help the glitter fall slowly.
  5. Sprinkle white glitter into the jar and close the lid tightly.
  6. Shake the jar gently to watch your snowstorm come to life!

Notes

You can personalize the snowstorm with food coloring, different jar sizes, or seasonal decorations. Adding liquid glycerin will slow down the descent of the glitter.
