Description

A fun and educational slime recipe that teaches kids about polymers while allowing for creativity and sensory play.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons contact lens solution
  • Liquid food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or stirring stick
  • Measuring cups

Instructions

  1. Gather all your materials on a clean workspace.
  2. In the mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of warm water and stir until fully blended.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Divide the mixture into separate bowls for different colors and add liquid food coloring to each, mixing until desired vibrancy is achieved.
  5. To each bowl, add 2 tablespoons of contact lens solution and stir vigorously until the mixture thickens.
  6. Once clumped, knead the slime with your hands until it is stretchy and smooth.
