Instructions
- Shape the Pipe Cleaners: Bend the pipe cleaners into star shapes or any desired design. Ensure each shape is well-defined.
- Create the Glue Mixture: In a bowl, mix equal parts clear glue and water. For an extra sparkly effect, you can add some glitter to this mixture.
- Dip the Stars: Submerge your pipe cleaner shapes into the glue mixture, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
- Squeeze Excess Glue: Carefully remove them, allowing extra glue to drip off back into the bowl.
- Borax Solution: If you’d like a crystalline effect, dissolve some Borax in hot water (approximately 3 tablespoons per cup of water) and submerge the glued stars.
- Place on Wax Paper: Set your coated stars on a sheet of wax paper to dry. If you used Borax, leave in for several hours to overnight for the best results.
- Once dry, attach string or fishing line for hanging. Display your shining crystal stars wherever you like!
