- Boiling water

Instructions
- Clean the seashells: Rinse under warm water to remove dirt and allow them to dry completely.
- Set up your work area: Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet to protect your workspace.
- Boil water: Bring water to a rolling boil.
- Mix in Epsom salt: Measure approximately 3 cups of salt and pour it into a bowl, then gradually add boiling water while stirring until dissolved.
- Add color (optional): Incorporate food coloring for colored crystals.
- Fill the seashells: Spoon the salt solution into each shell, filling to about three-quarters full.
- Let them sit: Place filled shells on the baking sheet and allow them to cool at room temperature for crystals to form overnight.
- Check your geodes: After 24 hours, observe crystal growth and add more solution if needed.
