Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fine sand
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of water. Stir well until smooth.
  2. If desired, add food coloring and stir until incorporated.
  3. Mix in 1 teaspoon of baking soda until thoroughly combined.
  4. Gradually fold in 1 cup of fine sand until the texture is consistent.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution and stir until the slime clumps together.
  6. Remove the slime and knead it for 1-2 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.

Notes

Store the sand slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh. Add more contact lens solution if the slime becomes too sticky.
