Description

A fun and engaging recipe for making saltwater slime that offers a unique texture and endless customization options.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of white school glue
  • 1/2 cup of table salt
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of warm water (for dissolving salt)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Mixing spoon
  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup of warm water with the table salt. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of water and stir until well mixed.
  3. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to the glue and water mixture.
  4. Slowly add the saltwater solution to the glue mixture while stirring continuously.
  5. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to your slime mixture and mix well.
  6. Once the slime starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl, take it out and knead it with your hands.
  7. Store your finished slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
