Description
Easily craft your own stretchy and squishy saline solution slime with common household ingredients for endless sensory fun!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of white school glue
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1–2 tablespoons of saline solution (with boric acid)
- Food coloring (optional)
- Glitter (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of water. Stir thoroughly until blended and smooth.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to the glue and water mixture. Mix well; this helps give the slime its stretchiness.
- If you want colored slime, add a few drops of food coloring and stir until combined. For extra sparkle, sprinkle in glitter and mix.
- Slowly add 1-2 tablespoons of saline solution to the mixture while stirring. The slime will begin to form; continue mixing until the slime comes together.
- Once the slime starts to pull away from the bowl, use your hands to knead it until it becomes less sticky and more pliable.
- Place your slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
Notes
For different textures, you can swap the school glue for clear glue for a transparent slime. If the slime feels too stiff, knead in a little more saline solution. It can last up to a week when stored properly.
