Description

An engaging and colorful science experiment that blends creativity with learning about chemical reactions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • Food coloring (red, blue, yellow, green, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon dish soap
  • Shaving cream or fluffy snow (to create the volcano)
  • Tray or baking sheet (to contain the mess)

  • Optional: glitter for extra sparkle

Instructions

  1. Create the Volcano Base: Build your volcano using shaving cream or fluffy snow on your tray and make a small hollow at the top.
  2. Prepare Colorful Lava: In a bowl, mix baking soda with drops of dish soap, divide into bowls, and add food coloring to each.
