Description

Create vibrant and fizzy geysers with simple household ingredients for endless fun and creativity!


Ingredients

  • Glass jars or clear plastic cups
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Water
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small mixing bowls
  • Spoon or stirrer

Instructions

  1. Fill each jar or cup about halfway with water.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring to each jar, stirring gently.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of baking soda for each jar.
  4. Spoon the baking soda into each colored water jar.
  5. Measure out 1/2 cup of vinegar for each jar in a separate bowl.
  6. Slowly pour the vinegar into each jar one at a time and step back to watch the colorful geyser erupt!
