  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Alka-Seltzer tablets (optional, for movement)
  • Glitter or small beads (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bottle: Start with a clean bottle: Remove any labels and residue. Ensure it’s completely dry.
  2. Fill with Water: Pour distilled water into the bottle, filling it about one-third full.
  3. Add Oil: Pour vegetable oil slowly over the water until the bottle is nearly full.
  4. Add Color: Drop in food coloring: Add 4-5 drops of your chosen food coloring.
  5. Optional Enhancements: For extra effects, add a pinch of glitter or small beads.
  6. Create Movement (Optional): Break an Alka-Seltzer tablet into smaller pieces and drop them into the bottle.
