Instructions
- Mix Colors: In separate containers, mix water with different food coloring to create your desired colors.
- Fill Molds: Pour the colored water into the ice cube trays or silicone molds, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Chill Out: Place the filled trays in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or until fully frozen.
- Remove from Molds: Once frozen, take the ice cubes or shapes out of the molds. You can run warm water over the bottom to help release them.
- Set Up for Cracking: Lay them on a baking sheet or large shallow dish to catch any pieces.
- Use a hammer or mallet to gently crack the ice. Listen for the satisfying sound as the pieces break apart, releasing a frosty spray.
- Observe how the colors blend and create stunning patterns as they break.
