Description

Craft your own vibrant and colorful Rainbow Gummy Soda Pops that are fun to make and delightful to eat, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup soda (any flavor)
  • 2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Silicone molds (pop-shaped or any design)
  • Whisk
  • Heat-resistant mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Medium saucepan

Instructions

  1. Gather all materials and ensure your workspace is clean. Choose your preferred soda flavors and colors.
  2. In a heat-resistant mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of soda. Gradually add 2 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin while whisking continuously to avoid clumps. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and keep whisking until fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into a medium saucepan and heat over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is warm and fully combined (but not boiling).
  4. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to achieve your vibrant colors. Stir until the color is evenly distributed.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds. If using multiple colors, let the first layer set slightly in the fridge before adding another layer to create the rainbow effect.
  6. Allow the molds to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before transferring them to the fridge. Let them chill for at least 2 hours or until completely firm.
  7. Once set, gently remove the gummy pops from the molds. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Experiment with different soda flavors and consider fruit juice for a healthier option. Add small pieces of fruit or candy for extra texture.
