Description
Craft your own vibrant and colorful Rainbow Gummy Soda Pops that are fun to make and delightful to eat, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup soda (any flavor)
- 2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- Food coloring (optional)
- Silicone molds (pop-shaped or any design)
- Whisk
- Heat-resistant mixing bowl
- Measuring cups
- Medium saucepan
Instructions
- Gather all materials and ensure your workspace is clean. Choose your preferred soda flavors and colors.
- In a heat-resistant mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of soda. Gradually add 2 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin while whisking continuously to avoid clumps. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and keep whisking until fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into a medium saucepan and heat over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is warm and fully combined (but not boiling).
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to achieve your vibrant colors. Stir until the color is evenly distributed.
- Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds. If using multiple colors, let the first layer set slightly in the fridge before adding another layer to create the rainbow effect.
- Allow the molds to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before transferring them to the fridge. Let them chill for at least 2 hours or until completely firm.
- Once set, gently remove the gummy pops from the molds. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Experiment with different soda flavors and consider fruit juice for a healthier option. Add small pieces of fruit or candy for extra texture.
