Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups water
  • Food coloring (red, yellow, blue, green, purple)
  • Optional: glow-in-the-dark powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Space: Clear an area on the table to work comfortably and gather all materials.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and cream of tartar and whisk until mixed.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate pot, mix water and vegetable oil, and heat on medium until warm.
  4. Combine and Cook: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until thickened.
  5. Knead the Dough: Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then knead until smooth.
  6. Color the Dough: Divide the dough, add food coloring, and knead until evenly colored.
  7. Add Glow: Mix in glow-in-the-dark powder if using.
