Instructions
- Prepare your pipe cleaners by twisting them together to form the shape of a tree.
- Create the borax solution by boiling 2 cups of water and stirring in 1/2 cup of borax until dissolved.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the solution for colored crystals (optional).
- Submerge the pipe cleaner tree attached to a string into the borax solution without touching the bottom.
- Let the jar sit undisturbed for 6-8 hours or overnight.
- Remove the tree and let it dry on a paper towel to reveal sparkling crystals.
