Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Glass or ceramic containers (for growing crystals)
- Wooden stick or string (for hanging)
- Tablespoon for measurement
- Optional: Glitter for extra sparkle!
Instructions
- In a heatproof container, mix 1 cup of hot water with 1 cup of sugar until dissolved.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup of Epsom salt and stir gently until fully incorporated.
- Divide the solution into smaller containers and add food coloring to each as desired.
- For hanging crystals, tie the string to a stick and suspend it in the solution, ensuring it doesn’t touch the bottom.
- Place containers in a cool, undisturbed area for 24-48 hours for crystals to form.
- Carefully remove the crystals and let them dry before enjoying your creations!
Notes
