Description

A fun and visually stunning craft project to create rainbow crystal hearts using simple materials.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of water
  • 3 tablespoons of borax powder
  • Food coloring (multiple colors)
  • A heart-shaped mold (silicone or plastic)
  • A stirring stick or spoon
  • Wire or string (for hanging, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Solution: Boil the water until it’s steaming. Carefully add the borax powder, stirring gently until fully dissolved.
  2. Add Color: Divide the solution into separate bowls, adding drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix until the colors blend.
  3. Pour Into the Mold: Pour the colored solutions into the heart-shaped mold and use the stirring stick to create patterns.
  4. Wait for Crystals to Form: Allow the molds to sit undisturbed at room temperature for 6-12 hours.
  5. Remove Your Crystals: Once fully set, carefully remove the crystal hearts from the mold and attach wire or string if desired.
