Instructions
- Bend pipe cleaners into the shape of a tree.
- Cut cardboard or use a shallow container to create a base.
- Mix 1 cup of water with 1/2 cup baking powder in a cup until dissolved.
- Divide the solution into bowls and add food coloring.
- Dip the shaped pipe cleaner trees into the colored solutions and soak for several minutes.
- Remove the trees and let excess liquid drip back into the bowls.
- Observe the colorful crystals forming over several hours to days.
