Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down a tray or baking sheet to catch any overflow and put on safety goggles.
- Create the Foam Mixture: In a plastic cup or bowl, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda, then add a squirt of dish soap and pour in a few drops of food coloring.
- Trigger the Eruption: In a separate cup, measure out ¼ cup of vinegar and slowly pour it into the baking soda mixture. Watch the mixture fizz and erupt.
- Experiment with Layers: Prepare several mixtures using different food colors, alternating pouring into the same bowl for a rainbow effect.
