Description

Engage in the festive spirit of autumn with a delightful Pumpkin Volcano that combines fun, flavor, and a spectacular visual eruption.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium pumpkin
  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1 cup of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of dish soap
  • 1 tablespoon of food coloring (optional)
  • Pumpkin spice (for scent and flavor)
  • Decorative supplies (e.g., stickers, markers)
  • A tray or large dish (to contain the mess)

Instructions

  1. Cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin and scoop out the insides.
  2. In a bowl, combine the baking soda, dish soap, and food coloring (if using) and mix thoroughly.
  3. Place the pumpkin in the middle of a tray or large dish and pour the baking soda mixture into it.
  4. Carefully pour vinegar into the pumpkin and watch it erupt with colorful “lava”!
