Description

A fun and simple DIY project to create pumpkin stress balls perfect for fall decorations and stress relief.


Ingredients

  • Orange balloons (or any color for customization)
  • Flour or cornstarch (for filling)
  • Green balloons or construction paper (for stems)
  • A funnel (to help fill the balloons)
  • Scissors (if using construction paper)
  • Permanent markers (for additional designs)
  • Optional: Essential oils (for a calming scent)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your orange balloon by stretching it a little to make it easier to fill. Optionally, add a few drops of essential oil into the balloon.
  2. Using the funnel, carefully pour flour or cornstarch into the balloon until it reaches your desired size, about halfway full typically works great.
  3. Carefully remove the funnel, let out any excess air, and tie a secure knot at the end to prevent any spilling.
  4. Take the green balloon or construction paper and cut it into a leaf and stem shape. Pinch the top of the orange balloon to create a pumpkin top and attach the leaf or stem securely.
  5. Use permanent markers to draw faces or designs on your pumpkin stress ball to give it character!
  6. Squeeze, squish, and enjoy your handmade pumpkin stress ball. Place it on your desk or give it away as a thoughtful gift!
