A fun and simple DIY project to create pumpkin stress balls perfect for fall decorations and stress relief.
Ingredients
- Orange balloons (or any color for customization)
- Flour or cornstarch (for filling)
- Green balloons or construction paper (for stems)
- A funnel (to help fill the balloons)
- Scissors (if using construction paper)
- Permanent markers (for additional designs)
- Optional: Essential oils (for a calming scent)
Instructions
- Prepare your orange balloon by stretching it a little to make it easier to fill. Optionally, add a few drops of essential oil into the balloon.
- Using the funnel, carefully pour flour or cornstarch into the balloon until it reaches your desired size, about halfway full typically works great.
- Carefully remove the funnel, let out any excess air, and tie a secure knot at the end to prevent any spilling.
- Take the green balloon or construction paper and cut it into a leaf and stem shape. Pinch the top of the orange balloon to create a pumpkin top and attach the leaf or stem securely.
- Use permanent markers to draw faces or designs on your pumpkin stress ball to give it character!
- Squeeze, squish, and enjoy your handmade pumpkin stress ball. Place it on your desk or give it away as a thoughtful gift!
