Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Muffin tin or small containers for mixing
  • Paintbrushes or sponge brushes

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, and 1/2 cup of salt. Use a whisk to blend smoothly until there are no lumps.
  2. Pour the mixture into a muffin tin or small containers. Add a few drops of food coloring to each section.
  3. Stir each container thoroughly to distribute the color evenly.
  4. Grab your paintbrushes or sponge brushes and head outdoors to paint on a clean sidewalk or driveway.
  5. As the paint dries, watch it expand and create a puffy texture.

Notes

Experiment with different combinations of food coloring for unique shades. Add glitter for sparkle!
