Description

Create delightful, eco-friendly suncatchers using repurposed Pringle lids and transparent plastic sheets.

Ingredients

  • Clean Pringle lids (as many as you want to use)
  • Transparent plastic sheets (like packaging or overhead projector sheets)
  • Permanent markers or acrylic paints
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Hole punch
  • String or fishing line for hanging
  • Paintbrush (if using paint)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your lids by gently cleaning any leftover crumbs and allowing them to dry completely.
  2. Cut transparent plastic sheets into circles slightly larger than the lids.
  3. Use permanent markers or acrylic paints to draw vibrant patterns or scenes on the plastic sheets.
  4. Glue the plastic circle to the Pringle lid, ensuring the design is visible from the top, and let it dry completely (about 30 minutes).
  5. Use a hole punch to make a hole at the top of the lid and thread a piece of string or fishing line through the hole, tying a knot for hanging.
  6. Hang your suncatcher in a sunny window and enjoy the colorful light display.

Notes

Experiment with colors, shapes, and additional decorations for unique designs.
