Description
Create vibrant suncatchers from recycled Pringle lids to brighten your home with colorful displays.
Ingredients
- Clean Pringle lids (preferably transparent)
- Transparent adhesive or Mod Podge
- Colored tissue paper or cellophane
- Scissors
- Paintbrush (for applying adhesive)
- String or fishing line
- Hole punch (optional)
- Optional: Glitter, beads, or other embellishments
Instructions
- Ensure your Pringle lids are clean and free of residue. Remove any stickers or labels.
- Cut colored tissue paper or cellophane into small squares or shapes.
- Using a paintbrush, apply a thin layer of transparent adhesive onto the inside of the lid.
- Place your cut tissue pieces onto the adhesive-coated lid, overlapping them slightly for a layered effect.
- If desired, sprinkle some glitter or add beads for extra flair.
- Once decorated, apply another layer of adhesive over the top to seal everything in place. Allow to dry.
- Punch a hole near the edge of the lid, if necessary. Thread string or fishing line through, knotting it securely.
- Find a sunny window to display your creation and enjoy the colorful displays of light!
Notes
For variation, try different shapes of lids or use paint for bold designs. Experiment with layering materials for unique effects.
