Description

An easy and eco-friendly craft project for all ages, transforming ordinary Pringle lids into colorful suncatchers that brighten your living space.

Ingredients

  • Clean Pringle lids (4-6)
  • Transparent contact paper or clear adhesive sheets
  • Colored tissue paper or cellophane
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue (optional)
  • Hole punch
  • String or ribbon
  • Acrylic paint or markers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace on a clean, flat surface with all materials easily accessible.
  2. Cut the colored tissue paper or cellophane into small squares or shapes to create a variety of colors.
  3. Ensure the clean Pringle lids are completely dry; optionally paint or decorate the edges.
  4. Peel off one side of the contact paper and place it sticky side up; arrange colored pieces on it for a stained glass effect.
  5. Seal the design with a second piece of contact paper sticky side down; trim excess.
  6. Create a hole at the top using a hole punch; thread string or ribbon to create a loop for hanging.
  7. Choose a sunny window to hang your suncatcher and enjoy the colorful reflections from the sunlight!

Notes

Experiment with color combinations and shapes for unique designs. Consider adding embellishments for added sparkle.
