Instructions
- Select Fresh Blooms: Choose flowers that are flat and not too thick (like pansies or daisies).
- Prepare for Pressing: Place flowers between sheets of parchment paper and press them using heavy books or a flower press.
- Allow the flowers to sit for at least a week until completely dry and flat.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands from resin.
- Gather Materials: Have all your components ready near your workspace.
- In your mixing cup, combine the resin and hardener according to the package instructions.
- Mix thoroughly until no streaks remain, typically for 3-5 minutes.
- Pour a small amount of resin into the silicone mold to create a base.
- Carefully place your pressed flowers into the resin, arranging them as desired.
- Pour additional resin over the flowers until the mold is filled, sealing them in.
- Allow the resin to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 24-48 hours).
- Once cured, gently remove the ornaments from the mold.
- Optional Additions: You can add a string for hanging or any additional decorative elements.
- Display your beautiful pressed flower ornament in a window or give it as a heartfelt gift.
