Description

Create a unique pressed flower dish that combines artistry with nature, perfect for home decor or gifts.

Ingredients

  • Air-dry clay or resin
  • Assorted dried flowers (pressed)
  • Rolling pin
  • Baking sheet (if using clay)
  • Parchment paper
  • Decorative sealant (if using clay)
  • Paintbrush (for sealant)
  • Optional: Mold for shaping the dish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing a flat surface and laying down parchment paper.
  2. Knead the air-dry clay until soft, or mix the resin according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Roll out the clay to about 1/4 inch thickness using a rolling pin.
  4. Cut out a circular shape from the clay or press it into a mold.
  5. Arrange the dried flowers artfully on the surface and gently press them in.
  6. Let the dish dry for 24 hours if using air-dry clay, or follow curing instructions for resin.
  7. Apply a coat of decorative sealant with a paintbrush once dried and let it dry completely.

Notes

Experiment with different flower types, shapes, and colored clay for a personalized touch.
