Description

Create a charming pressed flower dish that encapsulates the beauty of nature.

Ingredients

  • Clear resin kit (epoxy resin and hardener)
  • Dried flowers (small blooms work best)
  • Silicone mold (shallow dish shape)
  • Tweezers
  • Mixing cups and stir sticks
  • Gloves
  • Plastic sheeting (for workspace protection)
  • Scale (for measuring resin)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down plastic sheeting to protect surfaces and gather all materials within reach.
  2. Choose and Prepare Flowers: Select dried flowers, ensuring they are flat and free of moisture, then use tweezers to position them.
  3. Mix the Resin: Wear gloves, measure out resin and hardener as per kit instructions, pour into a mixing cup, and stir thoroughly.
  4. Pour the Resin: Pour a thin layer of resin into the silicone mold and arrange the flowers.
  5. Final Layer: Pour more resin over the flowers and tap the mold to release air bubbles.
  6. Cure the Dish: Allow the resin to cure for 24-48 hours, then remove the mold.
  7. Clean and Finish: Trim any excess resin and clean the surface with a soft cloth.

Notes

Use dried flowers only, avoid fresh ones. Experiment with different flowers and colors for unique designs.
