Description

Create a delightful popsicle stick bird feeder that enhances your garden while providing a fun crafting activity for all ages.

Ingredients

  • Popsicle sticks (approximately 20-30)
  • Glue (wood glue or a hot glue gun)
  • Twine or string
  • Scissors
  • Birdseed
  • Optional: paint or markers for decoration

Instructions

  1. Create the Base: Take 6 popsicle sticks, lay them side by side, and use glue to attach two sticks horizontally, forming a rectangular base. Allow to dry.
  2. Build the Walls: Attach 4 popsicle sticks vertically on the corners of your rectangle with glue, and secure another 4 sticks horizontally between them to form walls. Leave the top open and let it dry.
  3. Add the Roof: Create a triangular roof shape with two popsicle sticks on each side and secure them with glue, fitting snugly on top of the walls. Let it dry.
  4. Hang Your Feeder: Tie twine or string through the top of the bird feeder for hanging, fill it with birdseed, and hang it in a suitable spot outside.

Notes

Consider using non-toxic paint for decoration and adjust the size of the feeder based on the number of popsicle sticks used.
