Description

A fun and engaging craft project for kids to create colorful octopuses using pompoms and pipe cleaners while learning about marine life.


Ingredients

  • Colorful pompoms (medium and small sizes)
  • Pipe cleaners (various colors)
  • Googly eyes or craft eyes
  • Glue (craft or hot glue)
  • Scissors
  • Optional: glitter, sequins, or other decorative items

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pompoms: Choose two medium-sized pompoms for the body and 8 small ones for the tentacles.
  2. Cut Pipe Cleaners: Cut 4 pipe cleaners in half to create 8 tentacle pieces.
  3. Attach Tentacles: Bend each pipe cleaner into a U-shape and secure them to the bottom of the larger pompom with glue.
  4. Create the Head: Glue the second medium pompom on top to form the head.
  5. Add Eyes: Attach googly eyes to the top pompom using glue.
  6. Decorate (Optional): Glue on glitter or sequins for added flair.

Notes
