Description

Create your own pirate treasure slime, a fun and engaging craft for all ages that combines science and play.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (must contain boric acid)
  • Food coloring (blue, green, or brown for ocean vibes)
  • Gold glitter or gold star confetti (for treasure effect)
  • Optional: Small plastic jewels or coins

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of warm water. Stir well until mixed thoroughly.
  2. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of baking soda and stir until fully combined.
  3. Add a few drops of food coloring to achieve your desired color, mixing until consistent.
  4. Gradually add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution while stirring until the slime forms.
  5. Knead the slime with your hands for a few minutes, adding more contact lens solution if too sticky.
  6. Incorporate gold glitter or confetti and small plastic jewels or coins for extra fun!

Notes

For a scented slime, add a few drops of essential oil. Experiment with colors and textures. Store in airtight containers for freshness.
