Ingredients
- Pink and turquoise pipe cleaners
- Borax powder
- Hot water
- Glass jar
- String
- Pencil or stick

Instructions
- Gather all the materials listed above to create a smooth workflow.
- Heat water by boiling it, then allow it to cool slightly.
- Combine 3 tablespoons of Borax powder in a glass jar.
- Pour in approximately 1 cup of hot water, stirring until the Borax fully dissolves.
- Take the pipe cleaners and twist them into shapes (like hearts, stars, or spirals).
- Attach a piece of string to your design for suspension in the solution.
- Lower the shaped pipe cleaner into the jar, ensuring it does not touch the sides or bottom.
- Use a pencil or stick placed across the top of the jar to hold the string steady.
- Allow the jar to sit undisturbed for 6-12 hours to observe crystal formation.
- Carefully remove the pipe cleaner from the jar once desired crystal growth is achieved.
Notes
Experiment with different colored pipe cleaners or add food coloring for vibrant effects. For larger crystals, use more Borax or let the solution sit longer, but be cautious not to let it spoil.
