Ingredients
- Clean eggshells
- Pink acrylic paint
- Clear-drying glue
- Assorted glitter (fine and chunky)
- White or clear craft sand
- Small brushes or foam applicators (optional)
- Small bowl or container for glue
- Parchment paper for drying
Instructions
- Carefully rinse and dry the eggshells, leaving them intact. Gently break the eggshells to create smaller pieces for crafting.
- Use pink acrylic paint to coat the inside of the eggshells evenly. Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Once dry, apply a thin layer of clear-drying glue inside each painted eggshell. Sprinkle fine glitter over the glue, then layer with chunky glitter for a sparkling effect.
- Optionally, add a sprinkle of craft sand for added texture.
- Place the decorated eggshells on parchment paper to prevent sticking and let them dry completely, ideally for a few hours or overnight.
Notes
Experiment with different colors and textures for unique geode effects. Use plastic eggs for easier handling, especially with kids.
