Ingredients

- 1 cup Borax
- 2 cups Water
- Pink Food coloring
- 1 Clean glass jar (wide mouth)
- Variety of pink Pipe cleaners
- String or yarn
- Measuring cup
- Wooden stick or pencil
Instructions
- Shape pipe cleaners into tree-like structures.
- Attach a piece of string or yarn to the top of your structure.
- Heat water in a pot to a boil.
- Mix borax gradually into boiling water, stirring until dissolved.
- Add pink food coloring to achieve desired color.
- Pour the borax mixture into your clean glass jar.
- Lower your pipe cleaner creation into the jar using the string.
- Leave the jar undisturbed for 24 hours to allow crystals to form.
- Remove your creation after 24 hours and rinse with water.
- Allow the Pink Crystal Forest to dry before displaying.
