Ingredients
- Black and white construction paper
- Orange cardstock (for feet and beak)
- Craft glue or glue sticks
- Safety scissors
- Fabric scraps or yarn (for scarves and hats)
- Googly eyes
- Markers or crayons (for additional decorations)
Instructions
- Prepare the Body: Cut an oval shape from the black construction paper for the body and a slightly smaller oval from white paper for the belly.
- Assemble the Penguin: Glue the white oval onto the black oval, positioning it towards the bottom to form the penguin’s belly.
- Create the Face: Cut a small triangle from orange cardstock for the beak and glue it above the white belly. Attach googly eyes on either side of the beak.
- Add Feet: Cut two small feet shapes from the orange cardstock and glue them at the bottom of the black body.
- Accessorize: Use fabric scraps or yarn to create tiny scarves and hats, wrapping the scarves around the penguin’s neck and placing the hats on its head.
- Final Touches: Use markers or crayons to draw additional features like flippers or a snowy background.
