Description

A fun and simple DIY paper plate llama project perfect for all ages that fosters creativity and bonding.


Ingredients

  • Two paper plates
  • Assorted colored construction paper
  • Markers or crayons
  • Glue stick or craft glue
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes (optional)
  • Yarn or string (for extra detail)
  • Optional embellishments (stickers, sequins, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Use one paper plate as the llama’s body and lay it flat.
  2. Cut the second paper plate into a quarter circle for the llama’s head.
  3. Glue the quarter circle to the top of the body plate to attach the head.
  4. Cut out two ear shapes from construction paper and glue them to the head.
  5. Draw the face features with markers or crayons. Attach googly eyes if using.
  6. Cut strips of construction paper for the llama’s blanket and glue them onto the body plate.
  7. Add texture and detail with yarn or string for a fluffy tail.
  8. Customize the llama with stickers or sequins for extra flair.
