A fun and simple DIY paper plate llama project perfect for all ages that fosters creativity and bonding.
Ingredients
- Two paper plates
- Assorted colored construction paper
- Markers or crayons
- Glue stick or craft glue
- Scissors
- Googly eyes (optional)
- Yarn or string (for extra detail)
- Optional embellishments (stickers, sequins, etc.)
Instructions
- Use one paper plate as the llama’s body and lay it flat.
- Cut the second paper plate into a quarter circle for the llama’s head.
- Glue the quarter circle to the top of the body plate to attach the head.
- Cut out two ear shapes from construction paper and glue them to the head.
- Draw the face features with markers or crayons. Attach googly eyes if using.
- Cut strips of construction paper for the llama’s blanket and glue them onto the body plate.
- Add texture and detail with yarn or string for a fluffy tail.
- Customize the llama with stickers or sequins for extra flair.
