Description
A fun and easy craft for Halloween, perfect for all ages. Transform paper plates into whimsical ghost decorations to celebrate the spooky season.
Ingredients
- White paper plates (1 per ghost)
- Black marker or paint
- White gauze or cheesecloth (optional for texture)
- Adhesive (glue or tape)
- Black construction paper (for additional decorations)
- Scissors
- String or fishing line (for hanging)
- Googly eyes or cut-outs
Instructions
- Start with a white paper plate as your ghost base. If desired, drape gauze or cheesecloth over the plate for added texture.
- Use the black marker or paint to draw ghostly eyes and a mouth. Think spooky or silly—it’s entirely up to you! If using construction paper, cut out eyes and a mouth, then glue them onto the plate.
- Cut a length of string or fishing line, then use adhesive to attach it to the top back of the plate. Make sure the line is long enough to suspend freely if you want your ghost to hang.
- Feel free to embellish your ghost with accessories like hats or bows using leftover materials. Add some laughter or bubble-style decorations around your ghost!
Notes
Customize your ghosts with different colors, faces, or accessories. Use different sized plates for a family of ghosts.
