Description

Fun and festive paper cup turkeys are perfect for Thanksgiving decorations and family bonding.

Ingredients

  • Paper cups (preferably brown)
  • Colored paper (red, orange, yellow)
  • Googly eyes
  • Craft glue or a glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Markers or crayons
  • Optional: Feathers, glitter, or other embellishments

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Set up a clean surface for crafting and lay down newspaper for easy cleanup.
  2. Create the Turkey’s Body: Take a brown paper cup and turn it upside down to form the turkey’s body.
  3. Add the Face: Glue googly eyes onto the cup and cut a small triangle from red paper for the turkey’s beak and glue it below the eyes.
  4. Make the Feathers: Draw and cut out feather shapes from colored paper, about 4-6 inches long.
  5. Attach the Feathers: Stick the feathers to the back of the cup in a fan shape using glue and let it dry.
  6. Personalize Your Turkey: Use markers or crayons to add details, and feel free to add embellishments for decoration.

Notes

Customize colors and use recycled materials for a unique touch. Consider creating a family of turkeys with different traits.
