Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of dish soap
  • 1/4 cup of food coloring (various colors)
  • 1 tablespoon of corn syrup
  • Mixing bowl
  • Straws or bubble wands
  • Paper or canvas for painting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the water, dish soap, corn syrup, and a few drops of food coloring. Stir gently to avoid creating too many bubbles.
  2. Decide which color or combination of colors you’d like to use. You can create different mixtures for varied effects.
  3. Dip a straw or bubble wand into the mixture and gently blow to create bubbles. Try to create a good stream of bubbles without spilling the mixture.
  4. Position your paper or canvas under the area where you’re blowing bubbles. As the bubbles pop, they will leave behind beautiful splashes of color.
  5. Allow your artwork to dry completely before handling. Enjoy the vibrant results of your bubble painting!
