Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution
  • Food coloring (blue, green, or teal)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Glitter (optional, for a sparkling effect)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Airtight container (for storage)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of white school glue and add 1/2 cup of water. Stir until combined.
  2. Drop in a few drops of food coloring and swirl the mixture to achieve your desired shade.
  3. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of baking soda and stir well to dissolve it completely.
  4. Slowly mix in 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution and keep stirring until the mixture starts to pull away from the bowl.
  5. Transfer the slime to a clean surface and knead with your hands. Add glitter if desired.
  6. Place the finished slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

For added texture, incorporate fish-shaped beads or shells, or use essential oils for scent. Adjust water amount for desired slime thickness.
