Description

Create vibrant and beautiful suncatchers that transform sunlight into dazzling displays of color, perfect for any window.

Ingredients

  • Plastic beads (various colors)
  • Cookie cutter shapes (ocean-themed: fish, starfish, shells)
  • Old muffin tin or metal baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven
  • Oven mitts

Instructions

  1. Gather all necessary materials on a clean surface.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Select your cookie cutter shapes and place them on the muffin tin or baking sheet.
  4. Fill the cookie cutter shapes with plastic beads, ensuring they are compact and evenly distributed.
  5. Carefully place the muffin tin or baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  6. Monitor the beads as they melt for about 10-15 minutes, ensuring they melt but do not bubble over.
  7. Once melted, use oven mitts to take the tin out and allow it to cool completely.
  8. Gently remove the melted shapes from the tin.
  9. If desired, attach a string or wire through a small hole to hang your suncatcher.

Notes

Experiment with different shapes and colors. Consider adding glitter for extra sparkle.
