Description
Craft adorable no-sew sock worms using old socks, encouraging creativity and fine motor skills for all ages.
Ingredients
- Clean, old socks (preferably colorful)
- Scissors
- Uncooked rice or polyfill (for stuffing)
- Rubber bands or string (for securing)
- Googly eyes (optional for decoration)
- Fabric markers or felt (optional for additional features)
Instructions
- Choose your sock and turn it inside out.
- Pour a small handful of uncooked rice or polyfill into the toe of the sock.
- Gather the sock to form the head of the worm and secure with a rubber band or string.
- Continue filling the sock with rice or polyfill, stopping when it’s about halfway full and secure the body.
- Leave space at the end for the tail; tie off with another rubber band.
- Turn the sock outside in, use fabric markers to add patterns or a face, and attach googly eyes.
