Description

A sweet, easy dessert that is fluffy, creamy, and layered with nostalgic Twinkies and fresh fruit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 to 12 Twinkies
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 tub whipped topping, thawed
  • Fresh strawberries (or your favorite fruit)
  • Optional: cream cheese for extra richness, or strawberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice the Twinkies in half lengthwise and lay them cut side up in a 9×13 dish.
  2. Whisk the instant pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
  3. Fold half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
  4. Spread the pudding filling over the Twinkie layer.
  5. Add the rest of the whipped topping on top and smooth it out.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.

Notes

Use cold milk for the pudding for better thickening. Chill time is essential for clean slicing. Use fresh fruit as a topping right before serving for best results.
