Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup of warm water
  • 1/2 cup of white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon of borax
  • 1 tablespoon of glow-in-the-dark paint or powder
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups

  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Borax Solution: Mix 1 tablespoon of borax into 1/2 cup of warm water until dissolved.
  2. Mix the Glue: Combine 1/2 cup of white school glue with 1/2 cup of warm water and add the glow-in-the-dark paint or powder.
  3. Combine the Mixtures: Gradually pour the borax solution into the glue mixture while stirring continuously.
  4. Knead the Ball: Once a dough-like consistency forms, knead in your hands for about 5 minutes.
  5. Let it Set: Allow the bouncy ball to rest for a few hours or overnight to harden.

Notes

Store the ball in an airtight container to maintain its bounciness. Experiment with colors and sizes for customization.
